Department/Division Vision: Using sophisticated risk modeling and portfolio management systems, Credit Risk Account Management builds strategies that help reduce losses and increase revenue. Increase revenue potential while: -Reducing charge-offs -Reducing operating expenses -Improving customer service and retention Position Summary: The purpose of this job is to monitor our credit risk scoring systems and to analyze the effectiveness of our credit strategies. Job Responsibilities: - Design and implement new credit risk strategies to improve portfolio performance - Track and analyze existing credit risk strategies - Track and monitor the effectiveness of our scorecards - Contribute to the development/re-developmentAssist the construction and implementation of scoring models - Identify and implement new uses of credit scoring models - Liaise with vendors regarding problem resolution - Liaise and support business units with monitoring and ad hoc inquiries - Provide disaster recovery and business resumption planning support - Act in accordance with CTFS' Information Management Board Policy; report any suspected security breaches through management
Opportunities for this position:
You will gain intimate knowledge of CTFS data, database platform (Acxiom), as well as external data available for modeling and use in our strategies - Learn to use a variety of data management, mining, modeling, and analysis software tools (PC SAS, Knowledge Studio, PL/SQL) - Learn how to leverage TRIAD portfolio management software and Early Detect System software - Opportunity to interact with many key areas of the business (Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, and Collections)
